Companion to the maintenance update of Beautiful Soup: Build a Web Scraper With Python.
What changed
requirements.txt: re-pinned to the article's newdependencies(requests 2.34.2, beautifulsoup4 4.15.0), with transitive pins resolved for the Python 3.10 floor so the file installs on every supported version (soupsieve 4.0 needs Python 3.11.5+, so it resolves to 2.10).README.md: install command usespython -m pip(house style).scraper.py: unchanged. It's byte-identical to the article's final script.Links
Verification
requirements.txt, thenpython scraper.py: exit 0, ten Python jobs printed with their apply links.uvx ruff@0.14.1 format --check web-scraping-bs4anduvx ruff@0.14.1 check web-scraping-bs4: clean.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
